Elliot Hall Enamels, Abberley H.M.S. Conqueror Bowl
designed and freehand painted by Peter Graves

It's 1.00pm on 21st October 1805 and the Battle of Trafalgar is underway. Captain Cooke on H.M.S. Bellerophon is attacking the French ship Aigle, and Captain Pellow on H.M.S. Conqueror is attacking the Spanish warship Santisima Trinidad.

Inspired by the significance of this moment in British history, Peter Graves has created two outstanding designs reflecting the tension and urgency of the battle whilst paying incredible attention to detail. With consummate skill, Peter paints each design, freehand onto the miniature Abberley Bowl using the tiniest of brushes and the most delicate of minute brush strokes. The result - two enamels of incomparable quality.
